10 Mile Music Hall's future location in Frisco, Colorado
2012 Town of Frisco Barbecue Challenge, Frisco, Colorado

Typically when you hear about the town of Frisco, CO, it’s usually about skiing. However, there’s a change coming to town. Owners of the Barkley Ballroom, Todd Altschuler and Keegan Casey ,have started construction on their new music venue called 10 Mile Music Hall.

The new state-of-the-art music and wedding venue will double the capacity of most other venues in the area, allowing it to book artists that normally perform only in larger cities like Denver or Boulder.

Altschuler told NBC’s Denver affilate 9News:

“People from this area love going to Denver, but it will be awesome for them to be able to see bands that they would normally have to travel Denver to see right in their own community. We are super excited for it and can’t wait to start bringing bigger acts and genres. I just think that it’s going to be a huge boon to Frisco.”

The new building also features a large rooftop deck with a panoramic views of the Ten Mile Range. Do not worry, the deck will be open all summer with or without a concert. The owners said they hope to open by late summer or early fall of 2018.
