CBC Music Festival

The annual CBC Music Festival is set to take place in Toronto again. This unique festival serves to highlight Canadian musicians exclusively and promote Canadian artists of all genres, both to a domestic audience and internationally.

The performers for the 2018 CBC Music Festival were announced last week and if the all-Canadian lineup has anything to do with it, it’s going to be incredible. A few of the bigger acts include July Talk, A Tribe Called Red, Charlotte Day Wilson, The Rural Alberta Advantage, and Northern Touch All-Stars just to name a few.

If you want to know about and listen to some of the biggest homegrown Canadian talents, this is your go-to festival. The CBC Music Festival is a one-day festival and it’ll be hitting Echo Beach on Saturday, May 26th. And it’s not just for the music lovers out there, the festival will also include kids activities, food trucks, and more.

With passes only costing $39.50, with kids 12 and under getting in for free, it’s an incredible deal and a very family-friendly atmosphere. There’s also a limited amount of VIP tickets that give prime, unobstructed views of the stage, access to private bathrooms, and private bar and food service stations for those 19 and older. If for some reason you can’t make it to the event this year, the festival will be live streaming on YouTube, Facebook, and CBCMusic.ca. Anyone up for a CBC Music Festival viewing party?
