Governor’s Ball is definitely New York City’s marquee festival and the newly released 2018 lineup promises that this year will be just as good as years past. The headliners are Eminem, Jack White, Travis Scott, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Gov Ball really does have something for everyone and once you get beyond the headliners there are a lot of goodies. We’ll feature some of the highlights closer to the festival in our Small Font Big Future series, but some of the ones I’m definitely excited for are Maggie Rogers (the singer who made Pharrell cry), Margo Price (somehow already a legend), Dirty Projectors (still great post-breakup), Aminé (redefining Portland’s rap scene), Knox Fortune (the secret behind Chicago’s music resurgence), and A$AP Twelvyy (the best A$AP and the reason why Kendall Jenner “forgot” to tip her bartender).
The festival will once again be held on Randall’s Island from June 1st through June 3rd, and tickets are available now. But you might already know that. I know I do. They’ve been advertising hard recently. Literally every website I visit has one of their ads. Except this one.
Oh, and also on the official poster, there’s a name blacked out. I wonder who it is? Why don’t we speculate wildly on Twitter!
Who else are you excited to see at Governor’s Ball this year?
