If you’re ready to bring your own beer to a venue that features live music, artists, comedians, comedic plays, photographers, and eclectic films, this might be right up your alley. Opening on March 3rd, 2018, The Living Room is located at 35 East Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore, PA. The location is a stones throw away from the newly opened Ardmore Music Hall, but offers an entirely different experience than the larger club.
As an artist herself, the owner Laura Mann wants to bring back the smaller room venues that she played in when she was starting out her musical career back in the ’80s. The venue comes in at around 800 square feet and while she might play some of her own tunes down the road, currently it’s all about showcasing other’s talent in an intimate setting. Nothing says intimate like that name “The Living Room.”
And, if you’re someone who’s looking to become a performer at the venue, it sounds as though they may be offering music lessons during the day as well as a café with all of the delicious snacks and non-alcoholic drinks you could crave.
If you’re there for opening weekend, we’d love to see and hear all about it on Twitter!
