Spotify just launched their new version of musical maps, where anyone can see what the most played songs of the week in each country or city are.
This is a great, interactive way to see what kind of artists and genre’s are most popular in each city. The map updates every week based on what’s most popular in the app.
Users can see top music choices by “emerging”, “distinctive”, “most popular”, and “most viral” categories. Ever guessed what your friend across the country is listening to? Well know you know… sort of.
