It’s a slow week for new album releases, but New Music Friday never stops, especially right at the end of the year! Here’s just a couple albums and singles to check out before 2019 starts off with a bang.
Bad Bunny – X 100PRE
Rolling Stone has named Bad Bunny “Latin Pop’s Freaky King” and this debut genre-bending album proves his title is well deserved. There’s a little bit of something for everyone: pop-punk guitar, gothic trap, eighties synth and more.
DeJ Loaf – ‘Go Dej Go’ Vol 1
Detroit’s most vicious female rapper DeJ Loaf has had a quiet stint recently with only a few singles, but this is the follow up EP everyone has been waiting for since her hit single “Try Me” earlier this year. This album is packed full of bangers with sharp one liners and heavy beats, returning to the hard hitting street style of her debut EP.
Russ – Just in Case!
This three song bundle by Russ is short and sweet. Just In Case is an EP comprised of songs leftover from ZOO sessions. The EP is composed of his signature emphatic rhythmic rap laced over acoustic beats. It’s exactly what his fans wanted.
Last but not least, we have a bonus single.
Post Malone – Wow.
With little album releases this week, it’s always fun to toss in a single, especially from 2018’s it boy Post Malone.
