That’s the phrase, right? We can’t party all day, every day. Anywho, it’s that time of the week again and if you’re ready to get this weekend started as much as we are, check out the NEW MUSIC FRIDAY tunes!

The Jesus and Mary Chain – Damage and Joy

The brothers are back after 19 years and while they may be getting along with each other they’re just as dark and angry as they’ve ever been. This is a cautious return, but definitely begs the question, “What’s next?”

Pallbearer – Heartless

In this seven song album, you’re going to hear a heavy Black Sabbath influence. But with almost poetic lyrics, long drawls, and just incredible heavy musicianship, they’ve got something that is all their own.

Trey Songz – Tremaine the Album

This new album from the Grammy nominated R&B singer, songwriter, and producer is filled with love songs (in one form or another).

Hiccup – Imaginary Enemies

This might be The Chris Gethard Show’s house band, but they’re comin’ in hot with this hooky as all get out indie punk rock.

Future Islands – Cave

Before the full new album The Far Field comes out, they’re giving us another little tease with this single. It’s got a cool 80s vibe to it with their ever present synthpop overtone.

Wolf Eyes – Undertow

The perfect name for an album of experimental noise. Avant-garde through and through and if you’re listening to it alone, you might just think someone’s in the room with you.

Gorillaz – Saturnz Barz

This single is coming in from the Humanz album due out April 28th. While it doesn’t sound like anything we were expecting, the video that came with it is everything we’ve been missing.
