Summer has arrived, and with it: festival season. With so many all over the US (and also internationally), it can be hard for them to differentiate themselves from one another. The LA festival, Reggae on the Mountain, though has no difficulty differentiating itself since it’s showcasing a genre that is often overlooked on these weekend-long affairs.
This July, reggae is returning to Topanga Canyon, CA in a big way. On July 22 and 23, Reggae on the Mountain will showcase two days of pure roots rock reggae.
Headliners include Sly & Robbie with Mykal Rose, Katchafire, and Yellowman.
Reggae on the Mountain promises to once again be a great time, especially considering its seven year history with past headliners such as Steel Pulse, Julian Marley, Don Carlos, Rootz Underground, Pato Banton, Ras Michael and many more.
Parking is free, but there’s also a shuttle from Topanga Canyon Blvd and brings you to the venue from 8 AM to 10 PM both days that you can take if you don’t feel like hiking all the way out there.
Jukely members will be able to claim their spot or enter a contest to win tickets.
