Claptone is always wearing that mask. But there’s one night a year where you can join him. In wearing a mask. Not on stage. What would you even do up there?
You probably recognize Claptone’s mask as something from a masquerade or maybe it’s reminiscent of that creepy Tom Cruise movie Eyes Wide Shut, but this October 31st, he’s inviting you to wear one with him. Claptone has been selectively putting on his Masquerade shows for awhile now, but this edition promises to bring a little extra oomph because it’s Halloween. Who knows what mystical things happen on the darkest night of the year.
Especially with everyone in costume and wearing masks. An extra chill in the air. Things that go bump in the night. Perhaps a mysterious new acquaintance.
If that wasn’t intriguing enough, consider that there’s going to be a two hour open bar. It’s Halloween and you’re wearing a mask, why not get crazy?
Claptone’s latest Masquerade will also be hosting Tensnake and another, yet to be announced, very special guest (our insider says it’s going to be Serge Devant!). It will all take place at Halcyon SF, on October 31st. Yes, on the real Halloween. They’re not messing around with the whole “let’s move it to the weekend because I have work” nonsense. Halloween is Halloween and they do it no matter what day of the week it happens to fall. Which is a Tuesday this year. Tuesday, October 31st.
