Hello Washington, DC! There’s a ton of shows coming through this month, but here are five that’ll be sure to please anyone. Which are you going to hit up?

May 13th at State Theatre | The Legwarmers
They’ve been rocking the stage for over ten years now and their Facebook page says that they’re “the ultimate ’80s tribute band.” I tend to believe them… Go for the music, stay for the outfits.

May 14th at DC9 Nightclub | Iron Chic w/ J. Robbins and The Rememberables
These Long Island punk rockers are coming through DC before heading across the pond on their European tour, check ’em out before it’s too late!

May 20th at U Street Music Hall | Ultra Nate w/ Lisa Moody
Grammy nominated R&B singer who’s been slaying for over 20 years. She’s a singer, songwriter, DJ, producer, promoter… what doesn’t she do?

May 25th at Flash | Claptone w/ Bella
German deep house DJ and producer who’s always in a mysterious golden mask.

May 26th at State Theatre | Head for the Hills w/ Strung Like a Horse and Dear Creek
Incredible four-piece string band based out of Colorado. But the thing is, they have a hard time explaining what kind of band they are… is it bluegrass? Newgrass? Modern acoustic? Yes. They sure are.
