While the prospect of a party on the beach this time of year would draw derisive laughter in much of the country right now, it’s just another glorious day in paradise for you.
Life and Death and Innervisions are throwing a big collaborative party called Rakastella with a killer lineup on the beach at the Virginia Key Beach Park.
What a lineup it is, too. The event promises a 12 hour extravaganza of music. Filling all those hours will take a whole village of DJs, musicians, artists, and producers, and the ones they’ve picked certainly don’t disappoint. The lineup as of right now will feature Ame || Ame, Axel Boman, Dixon, DJ Koze, DJ Tennis, Jennifer Cardini, Lovefingers, Mano Le Tough, Marvin & Guy, Moscoman, Octo Octa (live), Red Axes, Roman Flugel, Solar, Uchi, William Renuart, Diego Andres, and Brother Dan.
Not only that, but the event will include the support of a number of local promoters and event specialists to build a truly unforgettable and uniquely Miami experience around the music. The companies working on the event are PL0T, who will bring its unique decor styles, Basel experience and out-of-the-box thinking; Secret Garden, known for their Art Walk affairs and raw space curation; WHERE ARE MY KEYS, who are party pioneers on Virginia Key and last year held their first Art Basel showcase at this venue; and MATTE Projects, a New York-based production and creative agency known for their Full Moon Festival and international music and art event, BLACK.
It’s the outdoor musical experience of the winter and it could only happen in Miami!
