Saturday nights are for dancing, rocking out, and expending that pent up energy you’ve been holding on to all week. Luckily, Chicago punk rockers Red Light Compliance are making this feat easy. They will provide the perfect soundtrack to jump around to this Saturday, with a night of punk and alternative rock.
Red Light Compliance has seen a few different members and has changed their name at least once, but their full-length album Dead Youth is proof that all of these changes were well worth it.
Songs like “Plain Sight” and “Fader” exhibit energetic, pop punk melodies that will have you singing along to the lyrics. Additionally, hard-hitting rock tracks like “I’ll Be Ready in Fifteen With a Suitcase in Hand (George Bailey)” and “You’ve Got the Blood, I’ve Got the Time” will have you rocking out on the dance floor.
Jim Mack (vocals/guitar), Peter Mayoral (vocals/guitar), Rob Wash (bass guitar), and Joe Corson (drums) bring their energy to the audience, clearly wanting fans to have as much fun in the crowd as they have on stage. If loud, lively alt-rock is what you crave to fuel your Saturday night, this is the show for you.
You can listen to Dead Youth here:
The local four-piece will take the stage along with Nashville rockers Band of Silver for an impressive Saturday evening show at Cobra Lounge. The concert is presented by Riot Fest (the guys that bring you, well, Riot Fest, the super awesome rock festival in September). Punk-rockers Stellar West will also be performing Saturday night as support.
Maybe Red Light Compliance will even bring some upright bass to the stage (probably not).
Doors are open at 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2017. Jukely members can claim a spot. The general public can purchase tickets as well.
