When someone says “Atlanta rap,” there’s probably an image that pops up in your head of what “Atlanta rap” is (if you know anything about rap). Rittz is an Atlanta rapper who has been trying to expand that definition his entire career.
Growing up in Gwinnett County, Georgia, on the northern side of the Atlanta metropolitan area, he often talks about the stark contrast of economic opportunity that defines the area. Much of that influences how he thinks and what he writes.
On December 12th, Bowe Inc. is bringing him back for a hometown show at The Loft with fellow rappers Sam Lachow and Eric Biddines. Lachow is a rising Seattle rapper who we’ve featured before, with a number of record accomplishments in his hometown. Biddines is from Palm Beach County and has been notable for the soulful tinge to his rap as well as his ability to sing.
Three amazing rappers in one show? Sounds like a great deal to me.
