It’s no easy achievement to become a resident at one of the world’s most highly acclaimed nightclubs, Berghain. As Berlin techno continues to thrive and grow in the US, it is important to know the influence Marcel Fengler has had on the scene over the past decade. He is an artist who has achieved this in countless ways, helping the growth of the Berlin techno community across the world.
Marcel has produced and released on Berghain-affiliated label Ostgut Ton and runs his own label, Index Marcel Fengler. This is on top of being a resident DJ at Berghain for over ten years, since its founding. Him and his fellow residents Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock have gained global recognition for their unique production and personality that represents techno.
