Summer in New York has everybody looking for outdoor parties. For the music lover, that means looking for where the best music is, preferably over a whole weekend. Surveying the music festival offerings like Governor’s Ball, Electric Zoo, Panorama, and the like can make one blanch (and hold one’s wallet close). Sequence Music Festival is here trying to change that.
Sequence Music Festival is a two-day electronic and indie party being brought to you by City Farm Presents, a local outfit who also are the ones behind The Bell House and Union Hall.
The lineup for the event is pretty spectacular. Saturday will include Neon Indian (DJ set), Pomo, SHAED, and Plastic Picnic and Sunday has Com Truise, Anna Wise, and Aaron Taos. A little something for both the dance bunny and the Brooklyn hipster in you.
The setting is the beautiful outdoor courtyard at Industry City, right along the New York harbor, rain or shine. So come out and enjoy the New York summer party scene without killing your budget at Sequence Music Festival.
