Sweater Beats is adding extra musical layers to the decks on his new live tour.
Sweater Beats has garnered millions of plays and multiple Hype Machine #1 tracks with his unique brand of electronic pop music and toured the globe with esteemed acts like Chance the Rapper, Flume, and Chet Faker.
The Philippines and suburban Maryland aren’t exactly R&B or dance music hot beds, but they didn’t need to be for Antonio Cuna, now known worldwide as Sweater Beats, to ingest both genres and forge his own exciting hybrid, melding the sensuality of contemporary R&B with the immediacy of dance music. How he’s filtered those influences into a sound equally fitting both the festival stage and bedroom play, that makes Sweater Beats such an unavoidably intriguing project.
Now Sweater Beats embarks on his For The Cold Tour, which will support the producer’s new EP of the same name, out soon on Big Beat Records / Atlantic. This tour is Sweater Beats’ first foray into live sets. The tour will see Sweater Beats playing the guitar, his first instrument, and more, as well as incorporating custom lighting and production.
