Come and Take It Live is the permanent venue in south Austin of Come and Take it Productions. They’re a company dedicated to bringing national attention and tours to the central Texas area but also focus on pairing up-and-coming local talent on the same bills to promote artists trying to break into the industry.
Come and Take It Live is one of the venue gems of Austin, known under previous ownership as Grizzly Hall. The venue is two stories with multiple areas including a general admission dance floor, mezzanine, upstairs balcony, VIP balcony, private Sky Box, smoking patio, and much more.
The worn driftwood accents gives the venue an authentic Texas vibe without adding too heavy-handed of a rustic twist. The venue also does screenings, sporting events, and private bookings.
The second floor offers a different perspective than the GA dance floor, and has easily accessible bars as well. It also has tons of games, including pool tables and cornhole boards; for those who don’t need the live music to be the full show.
The green room, where artists get ready, is right past the pool tables on the upper floor and it has a classic Austin graffiti vibe.
